The female Taxi Card is a taxi service offered exclusively for women travelling alone. The Dial-a-Cab Female Taxi Card was introduced in response to the unfortunate assault of a female by a bogus minicab driver 'Listening in' on a taxi company's two-way voice radio frequency.

The Female Taxi Card is a prioritised cash paying service whereby the cardholder can phone for a taxi using an exclusive ex-directory telephone number. A personal Taxi Card number is issued which when quoted will indicate to our telephonist the cardholders name, address and telephone number etc. The driver on receiving the trip details via his computer is made aware of the female status and is advised to identify himself by his call sign or cab registration which can be made available to the client when booking the taxi. After arriving at the destination the driver will delay moving off until the passenger is safely at her door.
